Lesley’s local recommendations were incredibly helpful, and we had such a great time exploring the surrounding area. Some of our favourite trips included going to Ardtoe Beach & Singing Sands Beach.

We were fortunate enough to see some amazing wildlife, which made our trip even more special. The check-in process was seamless, and the property itself was cozy, well-equipped, and had everything we needed. All you need is in walking distance, fantastic restaurant, great pub with pool and darts, bakery, village shop and takeaway!

We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We will definitely be back and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking to explore the beautiful Ardnamurchan. Truly an unforgettable trip!

The entire place was spotlessly clean and furnished in a cosy and high class manner.
Lesley is an incredibly considerate host and communication was excellent beforehand, during and even after our stay. She went the extra mile when I thought I had left something behind.
The location is absolutely stunning and in a fairly remote place but there are local amenities nearby (with advance planning!), which Lesley had also given us good advice on. Lots of beautiful spots and scenery to explore in the area also.

The property is incredibly well done and the view is wonderful. It’s peaceful and a few minutes walk to the hotel that has a very comfortable relaxing public bar. I absolutely love this place and I’m sure we will be back. You will not be disappointed with booking a stay here it’s fantastic.

Wir haben unsere Gastgeber zwar nicht persönlich kennen gelernt, aber der Check-In klappte problemlos. Wie gesagt, der Ort liegt zwar fast am Ende der Welt verfügt jedoch über einen überraschend gut sortierten kleinen Laden, eine sehr nettes Cafe und und ein Hotel mit Bar und wenn man Glück hat mit Live-Music. Falls man doch mal Kontakt zu Menschen sucht. Wir können es nur empfehlen.

We were also glad that there were full instructions for all the equipment, so many places leave you guessing how to use unfamiliar cooking equipment. Lesley very kindly sorted out my allergy problems by removing perfumed items and not cleaning with anything perfumed. We would recommend this cottage as a great place to stay.

  Belmont chapel is a great space as a base to explore the area. We’ve kayaked, biked, been for lovely walks and hung out on the beach. We regret not staying... read more for longer, there was so much still to do! The big open kitchen / diner / living room is a perfect living space with plenty of room to spread out and a well equipped kitchen. The bedrooms are bigger than they look in the photos and have lots of hanging and drawer space. Little considerate touches like a supply of Tupperware for picnics and buckets for the beach made all the difference. The warm and powerful shower was very welcome after long days on the beach too. We’d love to visit again!

The cottage is well furnished and stylishly finished. You will feel instantly welcomed, just like coming home.

If you can bare the midges the bench out the front is a lovely place to start or end your day with a mug / glass of something in hand, equally too is the sun porch and probably the way to avoid the midges! Wherever you sit, inside or out, just drink in that view, the birdsong and utter peace.

The kitchen is fabulous and is well equipped if you intend cooking. My colleague and I were staying whilst working on Ardnamurchan so the cute puffin mugs and wine glasses was the extent of our needs!

The shower was A-MAY-ZING! I have long thick hair and the water pressure made light work of it. I usually avoid washing my hair when I'm away because it's hard work if the shower isn't up to it. Not so here and there was a decent hair dryer too. Big hair welcome!

Lesley and her family, including their keen collie, were so warm and welcoming. I can't speak highly enough of this stay. Thank you Lesley.

The space was perfect for our family of four, with a lovely open planning living and kitchen space with two comfortable bedrooms.
Lesley and Daniel were friendly, unobtrusive hosts who had seemingly thought of everything. We cant recommend this place highly enough.
