Belmont Chapel Cottage

Luxury 2 bedroom self-catering holiday cottage in the stunning Highlands of Scotland

Welcome

Daniel and Lesley welcome you to this remarkable, peaceful and special place.

Belmont Chapel Cottage is situated in the small village of Acharacle on the beautiful and remote Ardnamurchan Peninsula in the Highlands of Scotland. From every window there are stunning views of Loch Shiel and the surrounding hills, mountains and rugged countryside.

An EV charger is now available on site.

A short drive will take you to the white sandy beaches of Ardtoe or Samalaman Bay, to the shores of Loch Sunart or the historic ruined Castle Tioram.

Belmont Chapel was built in 1913 and was used as a United Presbyterian Church, Belmont House was the church manse.

The church has been closed for many years and became part of the main house. In spring 2022 the chapel was converted into a luxury self catering holiday cottage.

Accommodation

Living Area

The accommodation is cosy yet modern and comprises a large open plan living, dining and kitchen area, two bedrooms, a bathroom, sun room and porch.

The kitchen is well equipped with everything you would expect including a dishwasher. The washing/dryer machine is located in the bathroom.

Stunning views across Loch Shiel can be enjoyed from the front window and garden.

Bedrooms

Bedroom one contains a king size bed. The second bedroom has zip-link beds which can either be two singles or joined together to make a king size.

There is a large corner sofa bed in the living area and we can also provide 2x fold out beds.

For babies and toddlers there is a travel cot, high chair, training toilet seat and stool. As the accommodation is all on one level we do not provide any safety gates.

Outdoor

There is a garden area surrounding the cottage with a large picnic table, fire pit, rotary washing line & EV charging station.

Please note that the path to the cottage is uneven and there are a few steps. There is also one step into the cottage by the front door into the porch.

Two well-behaved pets are welcome, however please note the garden is not secure as there are no gates from the driveway out into the road.
